Live music at the White Lion every Tuesday evening

Even though we aren’t the biggest pub in the world, this doesn’t deter us from showcasing live music every week with different bands from near and far.  Music ranges from rock, blues, jazz and soul with many sessions being semi-acoustic.  Plus we have a regular Wednesday session night with local musicians playing traditional Celtic, European and American folk music.

White Lion Beer Festivals

Every year we host some seriously good Beer Festivals in the spring and over the August bank holiday weekend.  Here you have your chance to try over 30 different beers and ciders to find that perfect pint for you!  Live music, hog roasts and BBQs ensure they days go with a swing even if the famous British weather doesn’t collaborate.  Profits from the charity music festivals and other events go to well-deserving charities and, thanks to you, we raised over £1,000 in 2011!
