The White Lion is renowned for the quality of our varied and interesting dishes. All our food is homemade and the wherever possible ingredients are carefully sourced from local suppliers. We have an ever-changing menu and make sure there’s a variety of different meals on offer every day. Check out our lunchtime menu, daily specials and Sunday roasts to see what goodies are on offer!
And as it’s that festive time of year once again, we’re pleased to annouce our wide-ranging Christmas menu is on the way! Book early and enjoy a celebration meal with friends, family or loved ones between 1st and 21st December.
Menus are updated regularly to add new, exciting choices and to bring back old favourites plus there’s a Specials board that changes daily. Vegetarian meals are available and large parties can be catered for with advance notice. Contact us to arrange your next group lunch or dinner.
For lunchtimes we offer several hearty main meals – ideal if you’ve worked up an appetite and need to fill that gap. If you’re in a hurry or are saving yourself til later, a wide selection of light snacks are available including sandwiches, rolls, jacket potatoes and light dishes.
When it comes to evening food, we’ve got some really great dishes to fill those empty stomachs. Choose from meat, fish or vegetarian options all made fresh to order.

Fresh and tasty
Freshness is everything when it comes to good cooking and all our dishes are made to order from fresh ingredients, therefore you may have to wait a little longer for your meal than in other establishments. If you’re pressed for time, simply call us in advance with your order and your meal will then be ready and waiting at the time you specify – it couldn’t be easier!
