Oh yes! Large, safely fenced with lawn, picnic tables, boules piste, covered smoking area and a BBQ/hog roast we fire up in the summer
Is there disabled access?
Unfortunately we are a pub in an 16th century building that simply wasn’t built for wheelchairs, sorry! Wheelchair users can access our bars with some help (there’s a step from the street and two narrow doorways to content with) and our garden from the rear gate. If a wheelchair users come to the garden they will need to send a chum to the bar for drinks and food as there’s a flight of steps down to the pub. We do not have a toilet for the disabled.
Is there parking nearby?
Sopwell Lane and most of the surrounding streets are residents parking only. However, there is public pay-and-display carpark 2 minutes walk around the corner in Keyfield Terrace (see map). If you want to be green and come by bike, there’s plenty of space to park your bike in our garden
Do you do accommodation?
No, sorry. Contact St Albans Tourist Board for full details of all available accommodation in the area
